FA Cup Glory For Billericay Town FC

Billericay IT visited the AGP Arena on Saturday to see Billericay Town FC take on Didcot Town FC in the first round of the FA Cup. Billericay, who came into the game as hot favourites, were more than expected to ease through their opponents, bringing them considerable pressure to succeed.
Chairman and Manager Glenn Tamplin has a huge desire to go far in the FA Cup . With this in mind, Billericay were hoping not to have a repeat of last year, in which they crashed out of the cup in a first round replay against Enfield Town.

The new pitch surface and stadium has already impressed fans and proven to be an advantage for Billericay with strong home results in pre-season and the league. As Billericay went into halftime 1-0 up, the best was still yet to come. With the match ending 5-0, a hat trick from Jake Robinson was the highlight of the game as it helped the blues to victory. The match also saw YouTube freestyle star Jeremy Lynch make his blues debut, which really is another sensational signing from Glenn Tamplin, who never fails to impress us.
Billericay IT can’t wait to see where the Blues get to in the FA Cup and watch the team to produce more outstanding results.
